The Rolling Stones 50th Anniversary College Ring

On July 12 in 1962, the then-unknown British rock band The Rolling Stones played their first show at the Marquee Club in London. Fifty years later, the band is still playing to capacity audiences, and is one of the most commercially successful and critically acclaimed musical acts of all time. To celebrate the band’s golden milestone and coincide with a gala in Tokyo’s Roppongi Hills, its label Universal Music is releasing an anniversary package with a book of never-before-seen photographs, and a commemorative class ring made by the same jewelers tasked with creating championship rings for professional football and Major League Baseball players. The Rolling Stones super-fans can head over to the Universal Music Japan online store to pick up the silver collegiate ring with its inset onyx stone for ¥100,000 JPY (approximately $1,260 USD).
