El Camino Food Truck Branding by Savvy-Studio
EL CAMINO — FOODTRUCK from Savvy Studio on Vimeo.
Words from Savvy-Studio –
El Camino Foodtruck is our answer to Monterrey’s gastronomic needs. Its menu caters for all tastes, ranging from vegetarian options to delicious Texas-style hamburgers and sandwiches. The spanish/english combination in its name is a play with words which aims to communicate these flavours.
For this project we developed and exhaustive graphic language which is constantly growing. The aim is to make the Foodtruck very recognisable through its easily identifiable graphic style. Americana and biker tattoos are two strong influences, expressing the truck’s rough and Texan personality in an appealing way. El Camino Foodtruck is a tribute to an artisanal approach, from the meticulous preparation of the food it serves to the creation and implementation of its visual language that was conceived in pencil and paper and later hand drawn directly on the truck.

2013 VMA, Artists.MTV, Music, Justin Timberlake
The much-rumored *NSYNC reunion did indeed go down last night as Justin Timberlake was honored with an MTV Video Vanguard award – think of it as a lifetime achievement award for music videos – at the 2013 MTV VMAs. Following a montage of Timberlake’s hit videos, the man himself kicked off a performance medley by making his way through Brooklyn’s Barclays Center while performing “Take Back The Night.” JT eventually made his way to the main stage as the hits kept on coming, even joining *NSYNC’s JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Chris Kirkpatrick, and Joey Fatone for “Girlfriend” and “Bye Bye Bye.” More than 15 minutes in length, the entirety of Timberlake’s show-stealing performance can be enjoyed above.

Teahupoo: INSIDE THE MONSTER by Gilles Hucualt and Julien Marckt
Teahupoo INSIDE THE MONSTER by Gilles Hucualt and Julien Marckt
Sure you have seen many videos on the competitions held in this mythical enclave south of Tahiti in French Polynesia: Teahupoo. Its waves XXL and feared reef make it a challenge for the biggest names in surfing.
When confluent certain conditions of wind and tide, the waves are so big that the French Navy has to activate the so-called double code red and in such cases, is to arrest anyone entering the water.
The film shows the risk Gilles, the adrenaline, the courage, the cries, the roaring of the sea, the screams of riders and spectators, waves, falls, wounds, bathing suits lost in battle, the excitement … but also gives voice to photographers, cameras, pilots of the boats, event organizers, to approach the problems of a high concentration of people in a scene so dangerous and difficult to control.
