‘Tom Ford Documentary’ by OWN Visionaries

Designer Tom Ford recently made headlines with his straightforward quotes in an article in Interview magazine where he admitted that he lusts after beautiful women. In this forty minute interview, Tom Ford reveals more brutally honest opinions on life and the fashion industry.
Produced by Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) Visionaries, the normally reclusive designer allows cameras to follow him through design processes, photoshoots, the debut of his women’s’ collection and the opening of his flagship store in Los Angeles while providing commentary on topics from fashion, brand development, producing and directing his first film (i.e. The Single Man) and his own personal discovery.
The documentary provides an insight into the mind of Tom Ford who has gained tremendous success in the competitive fashion industry and reveals someone who is genuinely in-touch with what is important in life amidst an extremely superficial community.

Gaining instant notoriety by ruthlessly tagging luxury brand stores such as YSL, Louis Vuitton, Coletteand Supreme, Kidult has stirred up controversy about his motives and intentions behind such acts. In two parts, the videos show Kidult in an altered voice giving his opinions on what graffiti should be while shocking images of war and famine flash on. It almost seems like a mindless film for propaganda.

Sinema TV ‘The Underground Stage: Season 1’ Documentary
A docu-series produced by Sinema TV, The Underground Stage puts the focus on the people behind the creative industry in Singapore. Now in its fifth installment, we get a look at professionals in the fashion industry and their honest opinions.
Featuring various veterans in the fashion industry, such as Thomas Wee, Daniel Boey, Nicholas Wong and photographer, Toon Liang, the docu-series gives us a look at what goes on when the glamour and cliches of the industry has been removed.
In the latest chapter, The Underground Stage sits down with Louis Koh, Afton Chan and Ruth Marbunof Reckless Erica on how they manage their clothing line in the competitive industry.

Prometheus: New Movie Poster
In Greek mythology, the Titan god Prometheus gave raise to mankind, first by forging out of clay. Then, he stole fire from Zeus so man can have warmth and light. Fittingly, an advanced space craft with the same name arrived at the galaxy’s fringe, in search of humankind’s origin. What Prometheus and its crew found, however, was an origin but an end to all… Many have called it the prequel to director Ridley Scott‘s sci-fi thriller Alien, though details on the new film are not readily available. What is known is that the ferocious creature will somehow be incorporated into the new plot. With Noomi Rapace, the actress in the original live action film of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Guy Pearce, Patrick Wilson, Charlize Theron, and more, Prometheus is set to debut June of 2012.
