MARLEY will make its world premiere at the Berlin Film festival this month followed by its North American premiere at SXSW. Magnolia Pictures will release theatrically and on VOD on Friday, April 20th.

Shepard Fairey Enters Guilty Plea in Criminal Case with Associated Press
Los Angeles Times –
“Fairey admitted in 2009 to destroying documents and submitting false images in his legal battle with the AP. The news organization had accused Fairey of improperly using an AP photo of Obama in his “Hope” poster. Fairey claimed that he was covered by fair-use laws.
In 2011, the artist settled his civil case with the AP out of court.
A sentencing date has been set for July 16. The U.S. Attorney’s Office said in a release that the artist faces a maximum sentence of six months in prison and a maximum term of supervised release of one year. He also faces a maximum fine of $5,000.”

HK War Games REMATCH
Just finished designing the poster for our next HK WAR GAMES session. After the positive feedback from the last game I organised the boys are itching to get back on the battlefield and word has spread so I’m expecting a big turn out for the next come. Hoorah!!!

VP Records houses the best in reggae and dance hall music and Ako and Atiba spent weeks carefully selecting each artist for this vinyl compilation.

NIKE HTM FLYKNIT COLLECTION
On of my Japanese design heros Hiroshi Fujiwara has teamed up with Nike designer Tinker Hatfield, and Nike CEO Mark Parker once again. This time with the Nike HTM Flyknit Collection. The unique creation uses knit fabrics to create lightweight sneakers with excellent fit and comfort.

Bones Brigade Teaser
Stacy Peralta, director/producer of Dogtown and Z-Boys has a new film; “Bones Brigade.” A biography about the birth of modern skateboarding and the personalities that shaped it as members of the Bones Brigade team.
Walk down any street in any town, and you are destined to see someone riding a skateboard. Well, it wasn’t always like that. In the early ’80s, skateboarding was fading away until Stacy Peralta brought a profoundly talented group of outsiders together and dubbed them the Bones Brigade. This documentary chronicles their epic rise, using awesome archival footage and moving first-person accounts from Brigade members Steve Caballero, Tommy Guerrero, Tony Hawk, Mike McGill, Lance Mountain, and Rodney Mullen, among others. Through passion, drive, creativity, and a surprising sense of teamwork, they revitalized the sport and influenced generations.
