Oki-ni is one of the world’s leading online menswear portals and to celebrate the launch of their new website they’ve sent some of their latest and finest pieces into space.
“As part of THE LAUNCH we sent a selection of our product on a 2 hour round trip, firing it over 100,000 ft (just shy of 20 miles) into the stratosphere before returning it safely to earth.”

Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 45th Anniversary Edition
To mark the Mercedes-Benz SLS 45th Anniversary, a very special edition was presented. The 6.3-liter V8 SLS AMG GT3 supercar construction was supervised by Bernd Schneider, winner of the German Touring Championship. It intends to conquer, not only collectors of the German brand, but also car racing fans. However, there are two drawbacks: first, its price, never below $500,000, and finally, the fact that there are only five units for sale, which greatly raises the dispute…get your check books out fast!

Red Bull Stratos: Felix Baumgartner will jump from Stratosphere live stream
Red Bull Stratos is a mission to the edge of space that will try to surpass human limits that have existed for more than 50 years. Supported by a team of experts, Felix Baumgartner will undertake a stratospheric balloon flight to more than 120,000 feet / 36,576 meters and make a record-breaking freefall jump in the attempt to become the first man to break the speed of sound in freefall (an estimated 690 miles / 1,110 kilometers per hour), while delivering valuable data for medical and scientific advancement.

Jay-Z’s Barclays Center Finale Concert
Thanks to Life + Times & Youtube, Jay-Z‘s sure-to-be-epic finale was livestreamed for fans across the globe. It marked the eighth and final show of his concert series in Brooklyn.
On top of the livestream, Jay-Z announced that he will be releasing an EP, rightfully titled Live In Brooklyn, on Tuesday. The project will include eight tracks and eight videos, all from tonights close-out performance.

Ferrari Dino 246GTS Targa
With the sales of the Dino 246 GT stable, Ferrari looked to increase its popularity still further by introducing an open version. The 246 GTS made its debut at the 1972 Geneva Motor Show and reactions were immediately very positive. The styling retained the individual, attractive lines of the 264 GT, with the added advantage of a practical targa top for open-air driving. The car’s success is borne out by production figures: of the approximately 4,000 246 GTs built, 1200 were the targa version.

Gianfranco Zaccai
Gianfranco Zaccai enjoys a design problem and a good meal with equal gusto. Born in Italy, Gianfranco co-founded Continuum, the Boston design firm in 1983. He has designed medical equipment, consumer goods, and retail environments. His passion for research led to the innovative and award-winning Compass system for Herman Miller Healthcare in 2011.
