Full Size 2011 Ferrari Steering Wheel Replica
I sat in front of my computer for about five minutes looking at this steering wheel trying to figure out what each button, switch and knob did. But still no idea! Either way, it’s impressive and I’d love to have one. This is the same steering wheel used by Ferrari drivers Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa in the 2011 F1 season.
“This superbly detailed and finely finished replica of the Ferrari 150° Italia full size steering wheel is hand built from genuine carbon fibre and is fitted with moving buttons, paddles and switches. The replica comes with a red leather base and a clear dust cover. Each one of the limited edition of 250 pieces comes with a certificate of authenticity and a unique numbered plaque on the base.”
Red Bull Breakdancing Contest Barcelona 2011
Breakdancing will never get old for me. B-boys just seem to be getting more and more tech with their moves. “Teatre Grec hosted one of the most prestigious B-boying international events. More than 1,400 people have attended Red Bull BC One Qualifier and witnessed the victory of the Portuguese Lagaet, who has already ensured his participation in the World Final, where the best 16 B-boys in the world will compete on November 26th in Russia.”
What goes on tour stays on tour
When you have mates in town. There’s only one place to take them….. Wan Chai!! Everyone has a story about a night out in Wan Chai. It’s driven many a man mad with temptation. The people in this photo have asked for their faces to be blurred due to ‘the misses will kill me’ protocol.

Since branching to Hong Kong. You soon realise when space is measured by square foot not square metre. Space is a luxury. Lucky for my business, as long as I have a laptop and WiFi I can pretty much work from anywhere.

Travel Essentials by HYPEBEAST
We all have our ‘must haves’ when it comes to travelling. For me I seem to travel with more and more I.T. equipment. What started off as just a mobile phone is now an iPhone and a Blackberry, a 15 inch or 17″ MacBook Pro, my iPad, chargers, Leica ‘Safari Edition’ camera, Burton travel hoodie, tracksuit pants, Monocle notepad, magazines, two packs of cigarettes, a spare lighter, business cards, sunglasses, lip balm, passport case and Beats Headphones. All this goes into my LV carry-on wheelie.
Here’s some highlight shots from the interview. Including Taj Reid, Mike West, Kevin Poon, Jarrett Reynolds and Frank Liew.

Jay-Z “Decoded” campaign wins Integrated Grand Prix and Titanium at Cannes
Article by: Fast Company
New York agency Droga5 continued its hot streak at the Cannes International Festival of Creativity with big wins for its Bing/Jay-Z “Decoded” campaign in the key Titanium/Integrated Lions category. The campaign won the Integrated Grand Prix and nabbed a Titanium Lion, winning over a jury that was “looking for the bravest idea.”
The Titanium Lion was launched in 2003 to recognize emerging forms of brand work that wouldn’t neatly fit into the existing award categories; the Integrated Lion was added in 2005, though the definition of what falls under each title has been fluid.
Jury chair Bob Scarpelli, the chairman of DDB Worldwide, acknowledged that the definition of an integrated campaign has shifted and that today, “the best ideas are integrated into culture.” Scarpelli called the campaign, which has also picked up Grand Prix in the Outdoor and Film Craft categories, “bold, innovative, interactive, immersive. It’s creating media.” There was no Titanium Grand Prix awarded.
Star Wars: The Blueprints Book
Star Wars: The Blueprints brings together, for the first time, the original blueprints created for the filming of the Star Wars Saga. Drawn from deep within the Lucasfilm Archives and combined with exhaustive and insightful commentary from best-selling author J. W. Rinzler, the collection maps in precise, vivid, and intricate detail the very genesis of the most enduring and beloved story ever to appear onscreen.
“Most importantly, Blueprints shows how in bringing this extraordinary epic to life, the world of special effects as we know it was born. For the first time, here you will see the initial concepts behind such iconic Star Wars scenes as the Rebel blockade runner hallways, the bridge of General Grievous’s flagship, the interior of the fastest “hunk of junk” in the Galaxy, and Jabba the Hutt’s palace. Never before seen craftsmanship and artistry is evident whether floating on the Death Star, escaping on a speeder bike, or exploring the Tatooine Homestead.” Star Wars: The Blueprints is a limited edition, hand-numbered run of 5,000 copies.
Nike Air 180 Black White Solar Red
Still one of my favourite running shoe’s from the 90’s. Nothing beats a nice clean colour way with a few highlights. A good all round edition for all occasions.
Dear readers…
It’s been a long wait, but I’m back on the blog grind. There’s still a few creases to iron out with the function and look of the site, but it feels like it’s got some legs to it now. If you followed my old blog at www.tuhinternational.blogspot.com you’ll start to notice I’m trying to make the new and improved site a little more personal on projects I’m working on and I hope the site can be used as a guide for travel, fashion etc. Feedback is welcome and I look forward to the future of the new tuhinternational.
Enjoy,
Luke Norris
Characters I’m working on with Mac Aspinall from Monocle Magazine
Say hello to three characters I’m currently working on with illustrator Marc Aspinall from Monocle Magazine. We’re still going back and forth on tweaking the look of each character, but it’s been a great test on our communicating skill, with Marc being based in the UK and I in Hong Kong. It’s a cool thought to be able to complete a project without meeting face to face. Only the use of email, facebook and SMS. I can’t say too much yet on what they’ll be used for yet, but I can’t wait to put some colour to these guys are start applying them to some mediums.
