Justice: New Lands
French electro duo Justice recently released a new video for their track New Lands. Directed by the Spanish collective CANADA. New Lands is taken from Justice’s 2011 album Audio, Video, Disco and in the hands of CANADA the track becomes the perfect soundtrack to a fantastical futuristic hybrid sport. Here we can see CANADA wearing their influences proudly on their sleeves and every frame seems to be loaded with knowing nods and tributes to great cinematic works like TRON, Rollerball and Escape From New York.

NET-A-PORTER GROUP Manhattan Office
The NET-A-PORTER GROUP (NET-A-PORTER, The Outnet and Mr Porter) recently occupied an office off of 5th Avenue in Manhattan and here is a look at it. The new office is pretty sleek and sophisticated, pretty much what you would expect coming from the online retailer triumvirate. The inspiration for the design comes from Parisian apartments in mind.

Visu Chair Family by Mika Tolvanen
About Visu: “The task was to create a personal interpretation of the ever-relevant plywood chair. I wanted my chair to have an unobtrusive and timeless nature that is familiar but never boring and without sacrificing function or ergonomics. In the end, I think every detail is exactly as it is supposed to be.”
About design: “My designs are function oriented. Products are for use, but that does not mean they can not be beautiful at the same time. I do not have a dogma or ism, but I believe good design comes from understanding materials and from a desire to improve functionality. An object can be complex in its variety of functions, but it doesn’t have to be complicated.”

The Race That Shocked the World Documentary
For the first time ever all eight finalists of the dramatic men’s 100m final at the 1988 Seoul Olympics tell their story.
The 100 metre sprint final at the 1988 Seoul Olympics was the fastest and dirtiest race in history. Six of the eight runners have since tested positive for banned substances. Ben Johnson, the winner, received a career destroying ban, whilst his rival, Carl Lewis, had failed three drug tests prior to the competition, and British runner Linford Christie, who finished second, was eventually banned for a series of drug test failures. In this program, Johnson and other runners will tell their personal stories of the race, and also put into context how and why athletes become drug cheats.
