Located near Bonito, in the southern region of Brazil is the Gruta do Lago Azul, popularly known as Blue Lake Cave. The high magnesium content of the cave made the unbelievably clear water turn an amazing azure blue color.
When sunlight hits the entrance of the cave, a play of sparkling blue color descends upon the lake which is said to be 295 feet deep.
